FAO forms Women Development Committee

Football Association of Odisha (FAO) today announced that it has constituted a Women Football Development Committee for the development of women football in the state. Sahadev Rout has been appointed as the chairman of the seven-member committee.

Aul MLA Debendra Sharma, eminent football coaches Raj Kamal Mandal, Nanda Kishore Patnaik, Mohammad Shahid Jabbar (AFC- B Coach), Gangadhar Bhera and former India woman football captain Sradhanjali Samantaray (AFC- B Coach) have been chosen as the members of the committee.

``FAO joint-secretary Sangeeta Sharma has been named as the ex-officio member. The committee will take up all possible ways and means for the development of football for women in the state,’’ a FAO press release said.
